Sheena Valero

Meet Sheena Valero, 4S Digital Communications Director, who develops and manages content for the 4S Education Foundation’s website and social media platforms.

Sheena earned her Bachelor’s degree at UCLA, with a double major in Creative Writing and Italian Studies. A freelance Content Specialist, she specializes in creating content for nonprofits and small businesses from various industries. She currently works as the 4S Education Foundation’s Digital Communications Director, heading the Digital Communications team, managing the website, and developing content marketing strategies. Her hobbies include exploring the world with her family, eating good food (with a preference for Italian Cuisine!), designing Christian digital art and reading novels.

Q: What led you to work for the 4S Education Foundation?

A: When Dr. Chase introduced me to the 4S Education Foundation, I was immediately amazed at its innovative mentorship program. The 4S Education Foundation is an invaluable resource to ambitious students who could benefit from the guidance and encouragement of trained mentors helping them through the rigorous college application process. I’ve always been passionate about the life-changing work of nonprofits, and I believe that the 4S Education Foundation does just that - it gives hardworking students a chance to achieve their dreams, creating a ripple of change for themselves, their families, and communities.
