4S Mentor Spotlight: Sean Do, UCLA

Happy #MentorMonday!

We’re spotlighting Sean Do, a recent graduate of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA)!

Sean is a part of the UCLA Class of 2022 and current mentor for the 4S Education Foundation Mentorship Program.

Meet Sean

Q: What did you study in college?

Sean: Biochemistry with a concentration in pre-med—the current goal is to get into medical school.

Q: What are some of your hobbies?

Sean: I play: League of Legends, Valorant, Maplestory; Favorite Foods: Dog Haus Sandwiches, Alfredo Pasta with Sausages; Shows/Movies: I like House M.D, but I usually watch Sr_Kaif on Twitch these days

Q: What inspired you to become a mentor for 4S?

Sean: I wanted to become a mentor because I always enjoyed editing UC essays when I was in circle K. Since I graduated, I thought it would be fun to help high school students get into the college of their dreams as I try to do the same with med school.

Q: What advice do you have for students?

Sean: My biggest advice is to just start! The hardest part about any application is starting. Remember that the worse outcome is that the reader just says no.
