Are you interested in learning how to solve that one problem? Or perhaps improve your reading comprehension? Or just need a new platform to study on?
Khan Academy is a great use for all of those! With lessons and practice problems suited for Kindergartners all the way to 12th graders and having lots of subjects, you could certainly find something helpful! Some teachers even integrate using this platform into their classrooms and learning environment for their students as a resource.
Students use this as a resource where they can learn at their own pace on subjects they’re interested in or studying for. For example, some students use Khan Academy to study for the SAT, especially with the various math and reading problems. There are helpful videos that guide the viewer on how to solve a problem and go along the process with them. It contains material that could be used for a whole curriculum or individualized and split-up lessons. To add on, Khan Academy personalizes your lesson plan by using your previous scores and seeing what you can improve on to meet your goals. A great bonus: brownie points! These could include motivational certificates and badges that you can accomplish!
Getting into the routine of using a new platform/resource could be difficult. However, it’s best to try and a way you could do that is by going on there, creating an account, and just exploring and navigating through the website to see all of the different stuff that you could do. After that, you could try it out for 30 minutes every other day and repeat the process until it becomes a part of your routine.
