Look out next month for a feature on a day in the life of one of our 4S Student Athletes! Learn how college athletes balance classes, working out, studying and finding time to rest.

Today’s Tip!

Staying active is a great way to destress and take a break from school. Whether you want quiet time for yourself or to meet new people, there is a sport for you.

In college, there are a multitude of methods to be active. If you need time to yourself, colleges may offer a recreational pool to exercise or yoga class to relax. There are also intramural, club, and varsity school sports that allow you to meet new people, keeping yourself active while making new friends.

Moreover, regular exercise has been shown to help with memory retention, which could help during college exams! It’s never too late to start being active!

For more information on ways to destress in college or what it’s like being a college athlete, reach out to our college mentors, who would love to share their experiences with you!
