Dr. Phil Chase — 4S Education Foundation

Meet Dr. Phil Chase, 4S Founder and CEO, who has helped more than 3,000 students to enroll in—and graduate from—college.

Dr. Chase, a long-time high school and college instructor, mentor, and coach, founded the 4S Education Foundation in order to expand the number of students who could benefit from his innovative mentoring practices.

His accomplishments include leading the Washington High School Academic Decathlon Team to two conference championships, as well as coaching the 1995 John Marshall High School Academic Decathlon team to the national championship.

Throughout his time as an educator, Dr. Chase has also received the NAACP Education Award, LAUSD Academic Decathlon Coach of the Year Award, Fulfillment Fund Educator Award, and 2001 California State High School Teacher of the Year Award.
