4S Donor Spotlight: Jenny Chieu, Amazon Engineer

As a nonprofit, the 4S Education Foundation depends on the generosity of donors who support our mission to improve higher educational opportunities for ambitious and resilient students.

Today, we’d like to recognize and thank one of our longtime and faithful supporters since 4S was founded.

Get to know our donor, Jenny!

Jenny Chieu is an engineer for Amazon who has been involved with the 4S Ed Foundation since its inception. She was present at the founding meeting in 2017, where many of her ideas were used to help start the organization.

Jenny is a 2013 graduate of Beverly Hills HS, where she was the captain of the Academic Decathlon team which took first place in LA County by the largest margin in history. She achieved the highest individual score in the history of LA County.

Jenny later attended UCLA as an Electrical Engineering major, graduating with honors in 2018.  She began working for Amazon in 2019, and moved to the Boston area. In 2020, she married Max Tolkoff, a Biostatistics researcher who she had met at the UCLA Skeptics Club.

As a donor and supporter, Jenny believes in the 4S Education Foundation’s mission, which has helped hundreds of students achieve their dreams like her. Today, she continues to contribute both through her wisdom and financial generosity to the success of the 4S Education Foundation.
