College Admission Decisions Coming Soon!
It’s the month of March, and what does that mean? Expect to hear back from your colleges (if you haven’t already!).
The University of California schools (UCs) will be notifying applicants between March 1-31. California State University schools (CSUs) will be wrapping up decisions by the end of March. Private university notification dates vary - make sure to check the university website for further information.
Whatever your application status, we have some tips on planning your next move!
If you’re accepted:
Congratulations! Share this monumental victory with your family, friends, and all your supporters (including your 4S family). The next step is to review your financial aid and calculate your estimated cost of attendance. Once you’ve reached a decision, submit your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) by the deadline. If you’re waitlisted:
Hold out hope! Opt into the waitlist to express continued interest in attending this university. Reach out to mentors for assistance with waitlist letters. We are here to help! Learn more about next steps after getting Waitlisted for College.
If you’re rejected:
Don’t forget–rejection is redirection! Your college is still out there somewhere, waiting for you with open arms. Read more about How to Deal with College Rejection.
