Student Spotlight: Lindsey Lee
Congrats to Lindsey Lee for her early decision acceptance to the University of Pennsylvania, where she will be studying Nursing!
Lindsey is one of our 4Sed Scholars of the 2023 Cohort that we featured last December. You could read more about what she was up to in this article.
Lindsey can now add her college acceptance among her many other accomplishments, including the book, “Teens Talk About Mental Health,” which she wrote, and being heavily involved in her extracurricular activities with the Red Cross and Debate. When asked about what she was feeling, Lindsey responded, “Right now, I'm definitely super excited to finish up the rest of senior festivities, finalize projects for IB and head off to college soon! I think I'm most excited for simply all the new people I could meet considering the diversity of the incoming class.”
She adds, “It was such a shock to be accepted into a school that I had considered such a reach, but I am glad that by at least trying, I was able to put forth my greatest self as a candidate despite the self-doubt. I hope that others also don't drag themselves because they think they aren't capable enough.”
Congratulations Lindsey! We’re so proud of you and can’t wait for you to embark on your new journey on the East Coast. Good luck and have fun in your last months of high school!
